The supplier checklist: 10 things to check

Use this table when you compare offers. The first two columns apply to any seller. The third shows how Bubble Allstars answers each point, so you can hold us to the same standard.

Tip: send every supplier the same request (quantity, material, sizes and delivery address), so that the quotes can be compared line by line.

Distributor vs. manufacturer vs. marketplace

Bubble football suits reach buyers in Ireland through three kinds of seller. Each can be the right choice. What matters is who stands behind the product once it is on your pitch.

Manufacturer

Produces the suits in its own factory. Often sells in large volumes, usually ships from the country of production and may leave import, customs and warranty claims to you.

Distributor

Selects products from manufacturing partners and sells them in your market. Handles the quote, invoice, delivery, warranty and support in your language.

Marketplace seller

Lists suits on large online platforms. Prices look low, but the seller, specifications and warranty are often hard to verify, and the product can change from one order to the next.

Bubble Allstars is a certified distributor since 2008, based in Vienna. We do not manufacture the suits ourselves. We work with manufacturing partners, and over the years we have reworked the material, belts, handles and valves with them, based on what we learned running bubble football events ourselves. For our customers we handle the quote, delivery across Europe and the 24-month warranty.

Marketplace and cheap bubble suits: the real risks

Very cheap bubble football suits are built for the occasional garden game, not for weekly matches or a hire fleet. The savings usually come from thinner material, glued instead of welded seams, simple straps without padding and a basic valve. The bigger risk is what happens after the sale. Many marketplace listings come without a commercial warranty, without spare parts and without anyone who can judge whether a split seam is a defect. If a suit fails shortly before an event, you have no replacement, and for a club or hire business the lost booking can cost more than the suit itself. Not every low price is a bad deal. But ask a cheap seller the same questions you would ask any supplier: material, specifications, warranty terms, what is included and who handles a claim. If the answers do not come in writing, treat the price as incomplete.

Notes for customers in Ireland

Ireland is in the EU, so bubble football suits shipped from Austria arrive without customs clearance. Clubs, schools and businesses receive a proper invoice. How VAT is shown depends on whether you have a valid EU VAT number, and your quote spells this out. Buying from outside the EU, by contrast, can add import VAT, duty and handling fees on delivery. Delivery to Ireland typically takes 14–20 working days. If you are ordering for Northern Ireland, say so when you ask for a quote, because different rules can apply.

Red flags when choosing a supplier

Walk away, or at least ask more questions, if you notice any of these:

  • No company name, address or VAT number on the website or the invoice.
  • Only stock photos or renderings, no real photos of the product in use.
  • No material specifications, or vague answers when you ask for them.
  • Warranty terms that are missing, only verbal or limited to a few weeks.
  • A low unit price combined with high or unclear costs for shipping, customs or handling.
  • Pressure to pay immediately, payment only through unusual channels, or no written quote.

How to compare quotes in five steps

A structured comparison takes about an hour and prevents expensive mistakes. Work through these steps with every offer on the table:

  1. 1Define your use: occasional parties, regular club or school sessions, or a hire business with bookings every weekend.
  2. 2Ask each supplier for the same configuration: quantity, material, sizes (1.5 m adult, 1.2 m kids) and your delivery address.
  3. 3Compare the total delivered cost: suits, shipping, VAT, any import costs and extras sold separately, such as pumps or bags.
  4. 4Read the warranty and after-sales terms: how long, what is covered and how a claim is handled.
  5. 5Check the delivery date against your first event and ask which similar customers the supplier works with.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy bubble football suits in Ireland?

From Irish resellers, from European distributors such as Bubble Allstars, directly from manufacturers or from marketplace sellers. An EU-based distributor keeps it simple: no customs, a proper invoice, delivery typically in 14–20 working days and warranty handling in Europe.

Is Bubble Allstars a manufacturer?

No. Bubble Allstars is a certified distributor since 2008, based in Vienna. We work with manufacturing partners and take care of the quote, delivery across Europe including Ireland, the 24-month warranty and support.

What makes a good bubble football supplier?

Clear specifications, a written warranty, repair kits and after-sales support, a realistic delivery time to your country and a correct invoice. Fast, specific answers before you order are a good sign of how a supplier will treat you afterwards.

Are cheap bubble football suits from marketplaces worth it?

For occasional private use they can be. For clubs, schools and hire businesses they are often a false saving: thinner material, no commercial warranty and no spare parts mean the suits drop out of service sooner.

How quickly will I get a quote from Bubble Allstars?

Within 24 hours. Tell us the number of suits, the material, sizes, your delivery address and whether you want a logo, and we send you a written quote.
