Bubble football suits, also called bumper balls or bubble soccer balls, are inflatable spheres with an inner harness and handles that players wear over the upper body. We supply them in two materials, PVC and transparent TPU, in 1.5 m for adults and 1.2 m for juniors. Every suit comes with a free carry bag, a repair kit and a 24-month warranty.

TPU bubbles: transparent, durable, cold-resistant

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is the premium material for bubble football suits. It is colour-neutral and transparent, practically odour-free out of the box and stays flexible across roughly 0–40 °C, so it suits year-round outdoor play. It is also lighter: a 1.5 m TPU suit weighs roughly 9–11 kg, compared with 11–13 kg for PVC.

In our wear tests across commercial hire fleets, TPU lasted on average 40% longer than PVC of equivalent thickness. That makes it the usual choice for hire businesses, schools and anyone who plays often or in cooler weather. TPU is also chlorine-free and recyclable, which helps organisations with green procurement rules.

PVC bubbles: the proven, affordable classic

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is the proven classic and the lower-cost way into bubble football. It performs best at moderate temperatures of about 15–30 °C, which makes it ideal for sports halls and mild weather, and it has excellent bounce. Small holes are easy to patch yourself with the repair kit that comes with every suit.

Choose PVC if you play occasionally, mostly indoors or in summer, or want to keep the initial investment low, for example as a club, a youth group or for a private set. New PVC can smell slightly of plastic at first; this fades after a few days of airing.

Double String Cordlocks

Our bubbles feature reinforced double-string cordlocks that ensure a secure and comfortable fit. Unlike single-string alternatives that loosen over time, our dual system maintains consistent tension, keeping players safely inside the bubble during even the most intense matches. The cordlocks are adjustable to accommodate different body sizes, making our bubbles suitable for both adults and teenagers.

Shoulder Strap Protection

We have added padded shoulder straps to protect players from discomfort during extended play. The padding distributes weight evenly across the shoulders, reducing fatigue and allowing players to enjoy longer sessions. The straps are made from a breathable material that prevents overheating, and the padding is thick enough to cushion impacts during collisions.

Durable Air Valve

The air valve is one of the most critical components of any bubble. Our reinforced valve design prevents air leakage even under heavy use. The valve is recessed into the bubble surface to protect it from damage during play. Inflation and deflation are quick and easy, with a standard connection that fits any electric pump. Each valve is individually tested before shipping.

Adjustable Metal Buckles

We use high-grade metal adjustment buckles instead of cheap plastic alternatives. These buckles allow players to quickly adjust the fit of the bubble to their body size. The metal construction ensures they won't break or deform under stress, and the smooth operation means players can get in and out of the bubble quickly between matches.

Handles with Protection Hose

The interior handles are wrapped with a cotton-filled protection hose to provide a comfortable grip and prevent hand injuries. Players hold these handles during play for stability, so comfort is essential. The protection hose also extends the life of the handles by preventing wear from repeated use.

Professional Gluing and Welding

Every bubble is constructed using a combination of professional-grade gluing and heat welding techniques. This dual approach creates seams that are both airtight and incredibly strong. Unlike cheaper bubbles that rely on glue alone, our welded construction ensures the bubble maintains its shape and integrity through hundreds of hours of use.

Size guide: 1.5 m or 1.2 m?

The right size depends on the player's height, not their age. A suit that is too large gives little control; one that is too small restricts movement and breathing room. Use this rule of thumb:

Mixed groups are common at schools and hire businesses, so you can combine 1.2 m and 1.5 m suits in one order. Both sizes are available in PVC and TPU. Children should always play under adult supervision.

What is the difference between PVC and TPU bubble football suits?

PVC is the affordable classic and works best indoors and in mild weather. TPU is lighter, transparent, practically odour-free and stays flexible in the cold; in our fleet wear tests it lasted on average 40% longer. Both share the same harness, handles and valve.

Which suit size do I need for which height?

As a rule of thumb, players about 1.20–1.60 m tall use the 1.2 m junior suit, and players from about 1.60 m use the 1.5 m adult suit. For mixed groups, you can combine both sizes in one order.

What is included with each suit?
