Bubble Football Suits Delivered to the UK – Delivery, VAT & Import Explained

What happens between your order and the delivery of your bubble football suits in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, and which costs to plan for.

Bubble Allstars delivers bubble football suits from the EU to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Delivery typically takes 14–20 business days after order confirmation. Because Great Britain is outside the EU, UK import VAT applies and customs duty may apply depending on the goods; your written quote, sent within 24 hours, sets out the delivery terms and import costs before you order. Every ball comes with a 24-month warranty, a carry bag and a repair kit.

Buying bubble football suits from Europe after Brexit

Since the UK left the EU single market, bubble football suits ordered from a European supplier arrive in Great Britain as an import. That does not make buying from Europe complicated, but it does change what you should compare: not just the price per suit, but the delivered cost including import VAT, any customs duty and any handling fees charged by the carrier.

Bubble Allstars has supplied bubble football equipment since 2008 and is based in Vienna, Austria. Hire companies, clubs, schools and event businesses in the UK order from us directly. This page explains how delivery to the UK works, which taxes and charges to expect, how Northern Ireland differs and how warranty claims are handled after the sale.

Who this page is for

This page is for anyone in the UK planning to buy bubble football suits, also called zorb football suits, bubble soccer balls or bumper balls, for hire, events, schools or sports clubs. Whether you need a single set for a youth club or a full fleet for a hire business, the delivery and import rules are the same.

We do not quote prices on this page. You can see the current packages on our prices page, and the quote you receive for a UK address lists the suits, delivery and the way import charges are handled, so there are no surprises when the delivery arrives.

What you can count on when ordering from the UK

Buying across a border should not mean guesswork. These are the points that matter most to UK buyers.

The full cost before you order

Your quote lists the suits, delivery and the delivery terms, and explains how import VAT and any duty are handled. You compare one delivered cost, not a price that grows on arrival.

All four nations covered

We deliver to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Give us the full delivery address, including the postcode, so the quote reflects the right route and rules.

Ready to play out of the box

Every bubble football suit ships with a carry bag and a repair kit, so you can store, transport and patch your suits from day one.

One contact after the sale

Questions, spare parts and warranty claims go to the same team that sold you the suits. You deal with us directly, by email or phone.

Import VAT and customs duty explained

Goods shipped from the EU to Great Britain are imports. UK import VAT is charged on them, calculated on the value of the goods plus transport and any duty. Whether customs duty is also due depends on the commodity code of the goods and on their origin: the UK–EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement removes duty only for goods that meet its rules of origin, so duty cannot be ruled out simply because the goods come from the EU.

Who pays these charges, and when, depends on the delivery terms (Incoterms) in your quote. In some cases import VAT and duty are paid by the buyer when the delivery arrives, and the carrier may add a clearance or handling fee for doing the customs paperwork. Your quote states which terms apply, so you know in advance what is due and to whom.

If your business is VAT-registered in the UK, you can usually account for import VAT on your VAT return using postponed VAT accounting and reclaim it as input tax under the normal rules. Schools, councils, charities and private buyers should check their own VAT position. We cannot give tax advice, so please speak to your accountant if you are unsure.

Delivery to Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland is part of the UK but, under the Windsor Framework, it follows EU rules for goods. Deliveries from the EU to Northern Ireland are therefore generally handled differently from deliveries to England, Scotland and Wales, and the VAT and paperwork can differ too. Businesses in Northern Ireland that trade goods with the EU typically use a VAT number with the XI prefix.

Because the route and the rules can differ, delivery times and terms for Northern Ireland are confirmed individually. Mention in your enquiry that the delivery address is in Northern Ireland, add your XI VAT number if you have one, and your quote will set out the delivery time and how VAT is handled.

Warranty claims from the UK

Every bubble football suit from Bubble Allstars comes with a 24-month warranty covering manufacturing defects in seams and materials. Buying from outside the UK does not change that: the warranty applies to UK customers in the same way as everywhere else. It does not cover damage from misuse, improper storage or normal wear and tear.

If something is wrong, contact us by email with your order details, a description of the problem and photos of the affected area. We assess the claim and agree the next steps with you, whether that is a repair, a spare part or a replacement. Small punctures can usually be fixed on the spot with the repair kit included with every ball.

Bubble football delivery to the UK: frequently asked questions

How long does bubble football delivery to the UK take?

Bubble football delivery to the UK typically takes 14–20 business days after order confirmation, to England, Scotland and Wales. For Northern Ireland, the delivery time is confirmed in your quote because the route and rules for goods can differ. If you need the suits for a fixed event date, mention it in your enquiry.

Do I have to pay import VAT on bubble football suits from the EU?

Yes, bubble football suits shipped from the EU to Great Britain are imports, and UK import VAT applies. Your quote explains the delivery terms and whether import VAT is paid on arrival. VAT-registered UK businesses can usually account for it through postponed VAT accounting; please check your own position with your accountant.

Is there customs duty on bubble football suits imported into the UK?

Customs duty on bubble football suits imported into the UK depends on the commodity code and the origin of the goods. The UK–EU trade agreement removes duty only for goods that meet its rules of origin, so duty may apply. Your quote states how duty and any carrier handling fees are dealt with before you order.

Do you deliver bubble football suits to Northern Ireland?

Yes, Bubble Allstars delivers bubble football suits to Northern Ireland. Under the Windsor Framework, Northern Ireland follows EU rules for goods, so VAT and paperwork can differ from Great Britain. Tell us in your enquiry that the address is in Northern Ireland and include your XI VAT number if you have one.

How do warranty claims work if I am in the UK?

Bubble football suits delivered to the UK carry the same 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects as everywhere else. To make a claim, email us your order details, a description of the problem and photos. We assess it and agree a repair, spare part or replacement with you directly.

Can UK schools, councils and businesses get a proper invoice?

Yes, every order delivered to the UK is invoiced by Allstars Int. GbR in Vienna, with our company details and VAT ID on the invoice. If your school, council or business needs a quote first for internal approval or a purchase order, we send a written quote within 24 hours.
